A woman dies as a result of 2 gun shots to the temple
Carrie Hicks, a 25-year-old woman, was found dead on February 24, 2007, in Acworth, New Hampshire. Her body was discovered on a couch in the home of Wayne Ring, located at 146 Beryl Mountain Road. Carrie had suffered two gunshot wounds to her left temple, and the medical examiner ruled her death a homicide. At the time police responded to the scene, Wayne Ring had also been shot but survived the wound.
