In the quiet town of Acworth, New Hampshire, a tragedy unfolded that would leave a lasting mark on the community. On February 24, 2007, a 25-year-old Caucasian female named Carrie Hicks was found deceased, leaving behind a mystery that continues to perplex investigators. Her life was cut short by two gunshot wounds to her left temple, an act that the medical examiner would later rule a homicide.
