Marquette Smith

On October 28, 2010, a tragedy unfolded in a residential neighborhood on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, marking the premature end of a young life. Marquette Smith, a 27-year-old Black / African American female, was found dead at a property located at 12937 Vaughan Street, situated near Rouge Park. The discovery prompted an immediate response from the Detroit Police Department, who arrived at the scene to investigate what was quickly determined to be a homicide.
