Deavon Wilson, a 17-year-old Black male, was found dead in Detroit, Michigan, on the morning of June 22, 2011. His body was discovered in a grassy area near the intersection of Philip and Waveney Streets on the city's east side. The discovery was made shortly after authorities responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the same vicinity.
