Nelson Suarez, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on the night of March 13, 2013, in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred around 10 PM in the Willmore/Drake Park Historic District, a neighborhood known for its historic significance. Suarez was standing in front of a residence near 8th Street and Maine Avenue when gunfire erupted, striking him in the torso.
