Larry Young, a 25-year-old father of three, was tragically shot and killed in Detroit on October 8, 2015. Young had recently moved into his home on Huntington and 7 Mile, and on that night, he walked out of his house to take a phone call. It was then that he was shot multiple times on the sidewalk. Young had recently graduated from truck driving school and was planning for a better future for his family. He leaves behind three young children aged 3, 5, and 7.
