In the winter of 2018, the life of 28-year-old Marcus Bost was tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence on Detroit's east side. A father to his nine-year-old son, Marcus Jr., and six-year-old daughter, Janel, Bost was a man remembered by his family as someone with whom they were in daily contact. He was a graduate of Cooley High School and was employed as a dishwasher at Champions Bar and Grill.
