On a cold winter evening in Boston, on February 28, 2012, the life of 54-year-old Hispanic male Reynaldo Vittini was tragically cut short. Police responded to a call of a person shot at 151 Homestead Street in the city's Dorchester neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Vittini suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his death was officially ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
