On a summer morning in Boston, the body of 51-year-old Dwight Price, an African-American man, was discovered by a jogger in Moakley Park in South Boston on August 1, 2014. Emergency responders, who arrived at the scene just after 6:30 a.m., found Price unresponsive and bleeding; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was determined to be a result of a stabbing, and the case was subsequently ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
