In the winter of 2008, the life of 32-year-old Jerome Anthony Waters was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the night of Friday, January 4th, he was fatally shot in the 2800 block of Kentucky Avenue. Jerome, a father of two, was the beloved son of Reverend Robin Taylor Waters. His death left a void in the lives of his family, including his brother Domonick Waters. The days following his death were filled with grief as family and friends gathered for a visitation at the Calvin B. Scruggs Funeral Home and a funeral service at Waters A.M.E. Church. He was laid to rest in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The investigation into Jerome Waters' death was handled by Detective Mark Veney of the Baltimore Police Department. Despite their efforts, the case remained open.
