In the pre-dawn hours of Mother's Day, May 8, 2016, a life was tragically cut short on Decker Avenue in East Baltimore. Antonio Buckson, a 38-year-old Black man, was shot and killed under circumstances that remain a mystery. A lifelong resident of Baltimore and a truck driver by trade, Antonio was remembered by his family as a sociable and funny man who cherished his loved ones. He was the youngest of four brothers, and his death left a gaping hole in the heart of his family.
