On May 25, 2015, Gerald Bernard Morris, aged 49, was killed in a shooting incident along with Joel Branch in the Valencia Park neighborhood of San Diego, California. The double homicide occurred in the 5300 block of Groveland Drive, where both men were shot and killed by suspects described as two Black males on foot.
