Jamar Matthews, a 29-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of Riggs Avenue, a street in the western part of the city.
