On September 2, 2016, 28-year-old Charles Lloyd Tyson was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland, in the 1600 block of Shipview Way. Following a months-long investigation, police arrested 24-year-old Tavon Howard in April 2017, charging him with first-degree murder and a handgun violation. Howard was found in possession of a loaded .40-caliber firearm at the time of his arrest.
