In the summer of 2017, the life of a 53-year-old Black man named Larry Bustion was cut short in a violent encounter in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of June 20th, Bustion was in the 1700 block of Ellsworth Avenue when he was fatally shot. The incident added to the city's grim tally of homicides for the year.
