A gas station worker is found deceased In the early morning hours of June 20, 1975, Robert McKee, a 35-year-old White/Caucasian male, was working the overnight shift at McNally's Texaco station in Newport, Maine. A married father of two and a respected sixth-grade teacher at the Vickery School in nearby Pittsfield, McKee had taken on the summer job to earn extra money for his family. The gas station, located on a quiet stretch of road off Interstate 95, was the only all-night service station between Bangor and Waterville.
