In the early evening of April 27, 2020, tragedy struck in the Newburg neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, claiming the life of 23-year-old Stefon Javon Fletcher. An African-American male, Fletcher was discovered inside a vehicle in the 5000 block of Runic Way, suffering from a critical gunshot wound. The Louisville Metro Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. and found him in dire condition.
