In the winter of 1998, a young African-American woman named Cassandra Jones, aged 20, disappeared from the Wichita, Kansas home she shared with her mother. She was last seen alive on December 13, 1998. Three days later, her green Pontiac Grand Am was discovered abandoned at 1013 N. Estelle, but there was no sign of Cassandra. The weeks turned into months, leaving her family to wonder and worry about her fate.
