Two teenagers are shot and killed at a popular park in Muncie, IN
On September 28, 1985, 15-year-old Kimberly Dowell and 16-year-old Ethan Dixon were found murdered in Westside Park, Muncie, Indiana. They were sitting in the front seats of Ethan's Volkswagen Rabbit when they were shot to death late at night. The discovery of their bodies was made by a police officer patrolling the area, who was reportedly so shocked by the sight that he briefly turned off his flashlight before radioing for help.
