On July 24, 2006, 10-year-old Blake Dickus and his stepmother, Chynna Dickus, were brutally murdered in their home in the Branigin Woods subdivision of Franklin, Indiana. Blake was found with multiple stab wounds, blunt force trauma, and evidence of asphyxiation, while Chynna had also been stabbed numerous times.
