Discovery of the Crime Scene
On March 3, 2002, the Fort Worth community was shaken by the tragic death of Stanley Cohen, a 51-year-old businessman known for his dedication to his work and his generous spirit. Stanley was found deceased inside his establishment, S&S Auto Parts Store, located at 3401 Miller Avenue. The scene was distressing; the store had been ransacked, indicating a violent struggle had taken place. Stanley had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, leading investigators to believe the crime occurred shortly after the store's closure that Sunday afternoon.
Theft of the Company Vehicle
In addition to the chaos inside the store, it was discovered that one of the company's trucks was missing. This vehicle was later located abandoned in the parking lot of Minyard’s Food Store at the intersection of E. Berry Street and Miller Avenue.
