James Cross, age 35, was shot and killed on February 25, 2007, in Chicago. The incident occurred in the Englewood neighborhood, a location often plagued by high levels of violence. Cross was found with multiple gunshot wounds in what was described as a targeted shooting. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
