Marcus Marshall, aged 20, was fatally shot on September 1, 2010, at a liquor store located in the 5700 block of South State Street, Chicago. The shooting occurred just after midnight, around 12:40 a.m., while Marcus was inside the store. He was accompanied by two other individuals, Shawntell Harris, aged 21, and a third victim who ultimately survived the incident.
