On April 23, 2000, 17-year-old Brian Carrasco from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of a gas station on Coors Boulevard Southwest. The incident was believed to be gang-related, with suspected gang members involved in the shooting.

In April 2006, six years after the incident, a 19-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with Brian Carrasco's death. The arrest was part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address gang violence in Albuquerqu ...
