In the summer of 2017, the life of 19-year-old Daniel Miramontes was tragically cut short in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On the evening of July 5th, gun violence claimed him and his friend, 19-year-old Consuela Rios. When police officers responded to calls about a shooting, they discovered a grim scene. Inside a residence in the southwestern part of the city, Consuela Rios was found deceased. Daniel Miramontes was discovered nearby, gravely wounded.
