In the early hours of October 30, 2021, the life of 37-year-old Geoffrey Scott Edgar was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. near 6th Street and Copper Avenue NW, where Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Edgar with numerous gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
