On December 18, 2018, Shane Alan Crawford, a 62-year-old resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, was fatally shot. The incident occurred on South Applehill Road in Prairie Grove, not in Lincoln as initially believed. Crawford was discovered with a gunshot wound and was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
