Malik L. McNeese, age 16, was shot and killed on January 3, 2017, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on Chicago's West Side. Malik, along with another teenager, Stevie Jefferson, was targeted in a shooting that also injured a 65-year-old woman. The incident took place around noon on the 3400 block of West Fulton Boulevard, when an SUV pulled up, and gunfire erupted.
