Diego Sandoval, aged 21, was shot and killed on July 24, 2017, in Chicago. The incident occurred in the Gage Park neighborhood on the city’s Southwest Side. Diego was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite prompt emergency response, he succumbed to his injuries. The shooting took place near the 5600 block of South Talman Avenue, an area that has been struggling with periodic violence as a result of ongoing gang activities and other systemic challenges.
