Joseph Gates, aged 29, was fatally shot on October 31, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the victim of a drive-by shooting, and the incident occurred in the South Side of Chicago. Gates was reportedly standing outside when a vehicle approached, and shots were fired. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died on November 4, 2017.
