On August 11, 2024, in Sharpsburg, North Carolina, 27-year-old Kiera Massenburg was tragically killed in a series of violent events perpetrated by her boyfriend, 32-year-old DaQuan Marcato Jones. The incident began in the early morning hours when Jones arrived at a residence on Weaver Circle, where Massenburg was staying with friends.
