Anthony Franklin, aged 26, was killed in a shooting on December 13, 2016, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred outside the Blue Ivory nightclub during an attempted armed robbery. Franklin and a friend were followed as they left the club. When Franklin confronted the armed robber, he was shot and killed near his car. Surveillance footage captured a suspect being dropped off from a white sedan, believed to be a Chevrolet Impala, before the robbery took place.
