Do you know who murdered 44 year old Steven Dixon in 2019? In the spring of 2019, a South Fulton community was shaken by the violent death of a local man. On the evening of Wednesday, March 20th, police responded to a call from the Camelot Condominiums located at 5565 Old National Highway. Inside one of the condos, they discovered the body of 44-year-old Steven Dixon. An African American male, he had been fatally shot.
The discovery launched a homicide investigation by the South Fulton Police Department.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division began to piece together the events that led to Dixon's death. Despite their efforts, the case grew cold, and authorities eventually classified it as an unsolved homicide.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Steven Dixon, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The South Fulton Police Department has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to a breakthrough in the case, circulating a police bulletin in the hopes that a witness or someone with knowledge of the crime will come forward. The investigation into his death remains open.
