On July 9, 2012, 29-year-old Ahmad Rashad Mackey was shot and killed during a confrontation in Miami, Florida. The shooting occurred after a dispute escalated between Ahmad and his cousin, Clarence Murphy. The argument reportedly revolved around a failed drug deal involving a prepaid card. Murphy confronted Ahmad in a driveway, where the altercation ended tragically with Ahmad being shot in the head.
