Jody Lipp, aged 47, was tragically shot and killed on November 21, 2017, outside his home on Hammond Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. The shooting took place while his family was inside the house, just a few feet away from the scene. The incident has left his family and the local community devastated, as Jody was well-known as a local tattoo artist who was loved by many. A family friend described him as a caring family man who always looked out for those around him.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the case, but no suspects have been identified. Law enforcement authorities are appealing for help from the public to solve this homicide. First Coast Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for any tips that lead to an arrest.
