In the autumn of 1974, the life of John Wayne Bradford, a 40-year-old male, was violently cut short in a seemingly random act of brutality. On November 4, 1974, Bradford, a house painter, and his associate, Edward Thomas Arnold, were traveling near Donnelly, Idaho, when they offered a ride to a young couple who were hitchhiking.
