Matthew Snow, a 34-year-old resident of Keene, New Hampshire, tragically lost his life on July 1, 2014, while attempting to rescue two hikers stranded on Mount Washington. Snow, an experienced hiker and volunteer with Mountain Rescue Service, was part of a team responding to a distress call from the hikers who were caught in a storm and suffering from hypothermia.
