On September 2, 2021, a tragic incident unfolded at the Italian-American Club in Warren, Rhode Island, resulting in the death of 66-year-old Brian Remy, the town's assistant fire chief. Remy, a lifelong resident and dedicated member of the Warren Fire Department for over 40 years, was fatally shot inside the club.
