On November 17, 2021, a workplace dispute in Fargo, North Dakota, ended in a tragic shooting that claimed the lives of 32-year-old April Carbone, a Caucasian female, her boyfriend, and their unborn child. The incident occurred at Composite America, a manufacturing facility where Carbone and her boyfriend, Richard Pittman, 43, were employed. Carbone, who was eight months pregnant, died at the scene, while Pittman was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
