In the summer of 2023, the life of a vibrant and beloved White / Caucasian 16-year-old girl from Bismarck, North Dakota, was tragically cut short. Taryn Lee Hohbein, a student at Bismarck High School who had just celebrated her birthday two weeks prior, was known by friends and family for her infectious laughter, silly dances, and a heart full of gold.
