On June 1, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the Trussville Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Brookstone Drive in the Echo Hills neighborhood of Trussville, Alabama. The call was initiated by the son of 82-year-old Jo Ann Henry Harris, who reported that his father, 80-year-old John B. Harris, had informed him of his intention to harm his wife and himself.
