On October 22, 2022, 52-year-old Tammy Bailey was found deceased in her residence on Bailey Drive in Oneonta, Alabama. Responding to a welfare check requested by a concerned neighbor, Blount County Sheriff's deputies discovered Bailey's body with multiple stab wounds and signs of dismemberment. The autopsy revealed she had been stabbed over 100 times, and her head was severed.
