In the winter of 2002, the body of a 23-year-old Caucasian man, Eddie Rieckers, was discovered on the shoulder of the road in the 46000 block of Concrete Sauk Valley Road, just east of the Dalles Bridge in Concrete, Washington. The grim finding on December 22nd launched a homicide investigation into the life and death of the young man, a case that has since grown cold, leaving a family with unanswered questions and a community with a lingering sense of unease.
