A man's body is discovered in the river
In the summer of 1980, the quiet town of Manchester, Vermont, was unsettled by the discovery of a local man's body. On Saturday, August 9th, the remains of 56-year-old Earl Joseph Greene Jr. were found in a river. The initial investigation into the circumstances of his death soon took a grim turn as authorities ruled out accidental causes.
