Barbara Agnew, a 39-year-old nurse from Norwich, Vermont, was last seen alive on January 10, 1987, after returning from a skiing trip at Stratton Mountain. Despite the ongoing snowstorm, Barbara pulled off at a rest area along Interstate 91 in Hartford, Vermont. Her green BMW was later found at the rest stop, with the door ajar and blood inside the vehicle, raising immediate concerns.
