Bobby McBride, a 41-year-old businessman from Brownwood, Texas, was found shot to death on March 16, 1981, in his office at "The Branch Office," a nightclub that he owned and operated. His death was discovered by an employee who arrived at the club, which was located in downtown Brownwood.
