On February 21, 2005, 26-year-old African American male Terrence Charles Leggett was found deceased in Sadie Thomas Park, located in Bryan, Texas. At approximately 4:00 a.m., a sergeant from the Bryan Police Department discovered his body in the driver's seat of his white 2000 Dodge Intrepid. An autopsy later confirmed that Terrence Leggett had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
