On June 1, 2008, Marcus Nettles, aged 26, was found fatally shot in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred late at night near the intersection of East Commerce Street and a secluded area under the Salado Creek bridge. Nettles was discovered by a passerby who reported his body to local authorities around 8:30 a.m. the following day.
