On October 23, 2011, 21-year-old Christian Jones was fatally shot during a carjacking incident in Houston, Texas. The event occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the Shadow Ridge Apartments located in the 12200 block of Old Walters Road in north Harris County. Jones had just returned to the apartment complex after a late-night fast-food run.
