On June 4, 1963, Robert Domingos, an 18-year-old high school senior, and his fiancée Linda Edwards, 17, were murdered on a secluded stretch of Gaviota Beach in Santa Barbara County, California. The couple had gone to the beach to celebrate "Senior Ditch Day" from Lompoc High School, where they were both students. Tragically, their lives were cut short when they were confronted by an unknown assailant while sunbathing.
