Elaine Davis, a 17-year-old from Walnut Creek, California, was abducted from her home on December 1, 1969. She was home alone with her younger sister when an unknown assailant entered through a rear sliding glass window. Elaine's parents returned that evening to find her missing, and some parts of her clothing were found scattered in the backyard, indicating a struggle.
